Avoid format chains
Prefer a direct, supported exchange route. An intermediate mesh can change the representation and may not serve an engineering geometry handoff.
Parasolid to STEP is not available in this release. Read the format notes and ask your sender for a self-contained STEP file.
This format or conversion is not supported. Ask the sender to export a self-contained STEP file, then inspect it with the STEP viewer.
Open STEP viewer →Choose STEP when the recipient needs a neutral exchange file rather than Parasolid. Keep source versions, units and required attributes with the conversion request.
Prefer a direct, supported exchange route. An intermediate mesh can change the representation and may not serve an engineering geometry handoff.
Importing Parasolid and exporting it are separate capabilities. STEP profiles, assembly data and metadata also need individual checks. Do not infer complete round-trip support from a list of extensions.
Include the source revision, chosen scope, unit convention and known limitations. Reopen the result in the intended software and inspect functional geometry, not only the outer shape.
Supported inputs are STEP/STP, IGES/IGS, STL, OBJ, 3MF, static GLB/GLTF, bounded ZIP packages and DWG 2D previews. Capabilities depend on format. Native CAD formats and downloadable model conversion are unavailable.
Yes. Selecting or dropping files uploads and processes them immediately in every tool. Files are processed temporarily on this server. The workspace displays the configured retention time. Delete in the file menu permanently removes your files; closing a view does not.
No. Your temporary workspace uses a browser session cookie. There is no account, subscription or permanent file library.
STEP/IGES use B-Rep geometry; mesh files use approximate triangle properties and require closed consistent meshes for volume. DWG is a 2D preview without physical properties. STL/OBJ coordinates assume mm. Mass uses your chosen density.
