Who uses CADProps
People come to CADProps to open, measure, compare and convert CAD files in a browser. They include mechanical engineers, buyers checking a supplier's part, CNC and 3D printing shops estimating a job, and students who need to open a file without the software that created it. Most arrive from search with a specific format or task, such as opening a STEP, SolidWorks or CATIA file or reading the volume and mass of a part.
If your product or service helps these people, a sponsored placement puts it next to the task they are working on.
What you can sponsor
- Homepage card. A labeled sponsor card below the upload panel on the homepage.
- Workspace card. A labeled sponsor card at the top of the property panel in the workspace, seen while people read a model's dimensions, volume and mass.
- Guide placements. A labeled sponsor block on engineering guides that match your product. For example, a CAM tool on a machining guide or a printing service on a mesh-format guide.
- Tool page placements. A labeled sponsor block below the main content of a public tool page, such as a format viewer or converter.
We agree on the pages, dates and format with each sponsor. Traffic figures for the pages you are interested in are available on request.
Placement rules
- Every placement is labeled Sponsored, and its links carry
rel="sponsored". - A placement never covers the model, the upload area or workspace controls. My files and shared model viewers carry no sponsor placements.
- A sponsor block is a static image or text with a link. We do not add third-party tracking scripts for it.
- Sponsors receive no uploaded files, model data, file names or account information.
- Sponsorship does not change guide text, calculated results or which tools a guide recommends. The editorial policy still applies.
- Products should be relevant to CAD, engineering, manufacturing or 3D printing. We may decline any placement.
