Who provides the service
CADProps is operated by CadProps Technologies Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore. By using the website, the workspace or an account, you agree to these terms. If you use CADProps for an organisation, you confirm that you may accept these terms for it.
Your files remain yours
You keep all rights to the CAD files you upload and to the results created from them. You allow CADProps to store, process and convert your files only to provide the functions you request, such as previews, measurements, conversions, saved files and share links. How files are handled, retained and deleted is described in the privacy policy and the specifications.
What you may upload
Upload only files you have the right to use and process. Do not upload files that are unlawful, infringe someone else's rights, contain malware, or that you are not permitted to process on a third-party service under a contract or export rule. If you are unsure whether a confidential file may leave your organisation, check with its owner before uploading.
Acceptable use
Do not use CADProps to:
- bypass upload, rate or account limits, or bot protection;
- send automated traffic that degrades the service for other people;
- probe, attack or try to access another person's files, shares or account;
- distribute share links for content you are not allowed to share.
We may limit, suspend or remove access, files or share links that break these rules, and we may block traffic that endangers the service.
Accounts and share links
Viewing and measuring do not require an account. Converting, saving files across devices and creating share links require sign-in. Keep your sign-in details secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. A share link lets anyone who has it view the shared model snapshot until it expires or you stop sharing, so send it only to intended recipients.
Results and their limits
CADProps calculates properties from the geometry it can read. Results can be incomplete or approximate: mesh formats and display meshes give approximate values, native formats depend on the converter supporting the file version, and mass depends on the density you enter. How we calculate explains the differences. Check critical dimensions and properties in your source CAD application or by inspection before using them for manufacturing, quoting, safety or legal decisions.
Availability and changes
CADProps is provided free of charge and as available. Features, formats, limits and retention periods may change, and the service may be interrupted for maintenance or failures. Guest files are temporary; keep your own copy of every file you upload. Some pages show Google ads, as described in the privacy policy.
No warranty and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, CADProps is provided without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, CadProps Technologies Pte. Ltd. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, or decisions made on the basis of calculated results. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply.
